Israel

I am standing in the Dead Sea. It is 37 percent salt. It is 80 degrees here at the Dead Sea. It is winter here like us in West Virginia.

Jennifer Eller, Mom and myself near Bethlehem. The Shepherds Field appears behind us. This is where the angels appeared to the shepherds to tell them of baby Jesus birth.

I am standing in front of a olive tree that is 2000 years old.
Dad, Me, Mom, Patty Goudy, Renee Goddard, June Cozart and Jennifer Eller in the Garden of Gethsemane near the old city of Jerusalem.
Mom and I standing in front of the Dome of the Rock. This is controlled by the Muslims. We as christians are not allowed to go in. We can only walk around the out side. We had to go through a check and they made sure that we had no weapons objects and no Bibles. It was beautiful site.

Closer view with Dad and I

Here is a picure of me with the soldiers gaurding the entrance at St Stephens or Lions Gate at the old City of Jerusaelm. The soldiers are very friendly. They watched over us and kept us very safe.
Mom and I are touching the stone road were Jesus walked.
I am having a great time.

  1. Thank you so much for your regular updates! I've always wanted to go to Israel but have never had the opportunity. I hope to some day. Thank you again, and enjoy every moment of this trip. It truly is a once in a lifetime opportunity, I believe.
